I believe I've mentioned before a podcast that I listen to called Pause Screen. It's hosted by a friend of mind from school, Kaz (who, you might recall, has made a number of guest appearances in this comic). Pause Screen is a video game podcast in which Kaz and a couple of her other friends talk about games they've been playing, bring up what's new in the world of gaming, hold occasional in-depth discussions about recent game news, and finally have a series of rotating segments where they'll give a "Top Five" list or a "Savepoint," in which one of the hosts will talk about a game they've played in the past.
It's a fun show to listen to. Pretty casual, nothing too fancy, but I kind of like it like that. It feels just like a few friends chatting about video games, making jokes, sharing memories, etc. I've been listening ever since they released their first episode, and have been an enthusiastic fan! And I knew very early that I'd love to be a part of it…
Which brings me to last week, when I made a guest appearance! It was neat! I got to come on towards the end of the episode to talk a bit about one of my favorite games from my childhood: Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure! And I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Kyle, one of the other hosts, was also familiar with the game. I won't spoil what we talked about here; you'll just have to listen to find out! The whole episode is worth a listen, but if you're short on time or only interested in my segment, it begins right around 50:30.
